- Monday, October 13, 2008. Resolving Disputes with the Collaborative Process
Presenters: Carol Weser, Ph.D., Sarah Glade Gurney, J.D (attorney)
"Psychologists are often faced with patients embroiled in conflict, with
their spouses or grown children, their family of origin, their neighbor, or
with business associates. We will present a format for collaborative
practice which allows these people in conflict to communicate to each other
in an effective manner, using a collaborative team which includes
psychologists or other mental health professionals. We will show that this
method allows future relationships to be respectful and for co-parenting to
be in the best interests of the child .We will also give information on
screening to determine which clients are not suitable for this process"

- Thursday evening, September 18, 2008.~ Jon F. Sassin, MD of the Sleep Medicine Institute in Santa Rosa will present to RPA on sleep disorders and treatment at the conference room of Osake Restaurant in Montgomery Village (behind Carl's Jr). This dinner meeting will begin at 6:00 with optional CE units. Please mark this event on your calendar and come!
-The dinner (mandatory per agreement with facility) will be $27.00 if payment is received by RPA by 9/15;
-Cost at the door will be $35.00.
-The 1.5 CE credits (optional) are $30.00.
